Today on our 2020 Subaru Forester, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror, which is also sold as a set.Whenever we use a towing mirror, it's really going to help expand our field of view. So that can really be useful whenever we're making a lane change, maybe trying to back up into a tight parking spot, or just want to keep a closer eye on what's going on behind us.So to give you an example on how much more ground we're going to be able to cover, you can see I'm visible in our towing mirror but not in our factory mirror. However, if I take a few steps closer to our trailer, I disappear out of the towing mirror and become visible in our factory mirror. That's really going to help eliminate any of those blind spots as well.So one of the big questions we get asked all the time in regards to these universal fit towing mirrors, is if you're going to have any vibration or noise, especially at higher speeds Well, to be honest with you, this one fits nice and tight. You can see if I kind of bounce it around, it's actually physically moving our factory mirror as well. more

Now, we got our Cherokee hooked up to our trailer here, and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror. But the problem comes in is if I start stepping away. Whenever we're pulling a trailer, we really need to pay attention to that outside lane, whenever we're on the highway, we need to change lanes or possibly when we're pulling over the campgrounds or parking our trailer.But again, once I move away, it's going to be really hard to keep track of me. more

Hey everybody, it's Rob here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the CIPA clip-on towing mirror on our 2018 Jeep Cherokee. Now, here I am in the back of my trailer, hooked up to our Cherokee and you can see me in the factory mirror. But the problem comes in when I step away, you're going to lose track of me, but that's where a towing mirror is going to help out.It's going to give you that wider field of view so you can see to the lane over, so you can safely make that lane change, park your trailer, or possibly even just pull up at the campgrounds. That wider field of view definitely helps out seeing everything and it gives us the confidence that we can safely get down the road. Because, let's face it, it's not really a good practice to stick your head out the window, to see what's going on with your trailer behind you.Now, our towing mirror is going to secure itself to our factory mirror, and again provide us an additional mirror so we can see what's going on. Now, the mirror itself is fully adjustable. more

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirror. This towing mirror is going to replace the passenger side factory mirror on your 2008 Newer Toyota Sequoia as well as your 2007 Newer Toyota Tundra. This is just the passenger side, we do also have the driver's side available as well as a kit with both the driver's and passenger side.If you are needing both, you can find them using that part number that you see on the screen or if you just need the driver's side, you can find that instead. But if you already have the pair, this is going to be a great replacement for the passenger side. I would recommend having both on your vehicle just for the aesthetics making it look balanced.This is a really nice mirror, It's going to extend out to give you that greater view of your trailer as you're towing. more

You can see here, it's going to be great when backing up to your camper or RV. Now, most cars these days have backup cameras, but having an extended field of view in your mirror is invaluable when it comes to seeing what's actually surrounding you, as opposed to just what's behind you. So you can really get a good idea when backing in, if you're safe and your surroundings are good to go.So to give you an idea of how the mirrors are going to perform for you, right now you can see that I'm clearly visible in the factory mirror right up against our camper here. But if I take a few steps to my left, I'm no longer visible in the factory mirror, but they'll become visible in the towing mirror.And this is the expanded view, you're going to get with your towing mirror, which is going to be great for passing, changing lanes and parking at the campsite, when you're hauling a large load. more

That's when it starts to become a problem, because we can't see that far over, especially this far back from our Edge.So a lot of us end up sticking your head out the window, but then we're taking our eyes off the road and that's really not a good practice.Well, that's where our towing mirror is definitely going to help. more

So first thing's first, this does come in a pack of two, and it comes with a nice little carrying case, so that's pretty cool. But you want to grab the driver's side mirror. So we're going to go ahead and take our mirror. And what we're going to do is we're going to hook on these top loops first, get those into place, and then we're going to slowly kind of rotate this down and then give it a good push. more
